I just found your site today and will return. My great-great grandparents Alexander and Mary Duncan left Rothesay in 1853 for Australia. I visited Rothesay last June. It took me 30 hours of travel to get back to Australia - it took them 3 months. I will post their details later to see if I still have any relatives on Bute. 14 November 2006 - Australia
